It’s going to be a busy summer at Woodlawn Baptist Church, located at 824 N. Ferdon Blvd.

The church already held its Vacation Bible School.

Russell Taylor is no stranger to North Okaloosa County.

Taylor is a former pastor of First Baptist Church of Holt and the founding pastor of the Shepherd’s Church, which is located on Highway 4 in Milligan.

The night before their graduation, members of the Crestview High School Class of 2023 gathered at Woodlawn Baptist Church in a time of praise and worship at the Baccalaureate service.

Easter had even more meaning this year at First Presbyterian Church in Crestview.
For the first time in almost two months, the congregation was able to celebrate worship services in its sanctuary. Early on the morning of Feb. 18, a car crashed into the front of the church at the intersection of North Ferdon Boulevard and James Lee Boulevard, reaching the interior wall of the sanctuary.
