09/22 – Butterflies in Motion

Family Library Time: Butterflies in Motion hosted by the Crestview Library from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Come join in for this free library event! There will be a mobile butterfly house and participants will be able to make a butterfly craft.

09/23 – Cruisers & Cops

Cruisers & Cops hosted by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Youth Services Unit at Old Spanish Trail Park in Crestview from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This is a free, family-friendly event featuring the Crestview Police and Fire Departments. There will be a Kids’ Fun Zone and activities.

09/29 – Music on Main

Music on Main featuring Aftermath 5 hosted by the Main Street Crestview Association from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Join in the fun for free live music, beer, food trucks, and an active military appreciation meal!

09/29 – Okaloosa Pro Rodeo

Okaloosa Pro Rodeo hosted at the Baker Arena on September 29th and 30th. Gates will open at 6 p.m. and the rodeo starts at 7:30 p.m. Join in for some family-friendly rodeo fun. Tickets are $16 for adults, $11 for kids, and free for kids 3 and under.

09/30 – Costume Swap

Costume Swap hosted by the Crestview Library from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Kids are always outgrowing their clothes. Bring outgrown costumes to swap for a new-to-you costume! Bring fall/winter clothes, accessories, and Halloween costumes to the library to swap! Any remaining items will be donated.

09/30 – Crestview Skate Jam

Crestview Skate Jam hosted by the City of Crestview and Vert Skate Shop at the EFCU Skate Park in Crestview from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be food, drinks, and lots of fun with four competition categories from ages 0-6 all the way to ages 35 and over. Registration is free.

10/14 – German Unity Day & Oktoberfest

German Unity Day and Oktoberfest hosted by the Historic Bush House in Crestview from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Join in to celebrate German culture at this Oktoberfest celebration! Entry is free.

10/14 – Trunk or Treat & Movie Night

Trunk or Treat and Movie Night hosted by the City of Crestview at Spanish Trail Amphitheater starting at 5 p.m. This is a free, family-friendly Halloween event featuring a trunk or treat and a showing of “Hocus Pocus” at 6:30 p.m.

Every Monday – Line Dancing

Join in with the City of Crestview Recreation and Enrichment Services at the Crestview Community Center (1446 Commerce Dr.) as they host Line Dancing each Monday. There are two times to stop by, one in the morning and one in the evening. The event is free to enter and open to all ages, with beginners and intermediates welcome.

First Saturday of each month – Crestview Community Drum Circle

The Crestview Community Drum Circle is a free event offered at the Crestview Library at 1446 Commerce Drive on the first Saturday of each month. Everyone ages 10 and up are invited to come have fun, learn, and make music together. Already have a drum? Make sure to bring it! Don’t have a drum yet? You can borrow one from the library! All experience levels are welcome to come march to the beat of the community drums.

First Thursday of each month – UWF Office Hours

Drop in at the Crestview Chamber of Commerce at 1447 Commerce Drive to explore degree programs, classes, and other education opportunities at the University of West Florida. Office hours are held during regular business hours and anyone is welcome to stop by. For appointments, please call Deborah Cluff at (850) 863-6550.

Second Tuesday of each month – Open Mic Night Poetry

Open Mic Night Poetry is a free event hosted by the Crestview Library at 1445 Commerce Drive. Dust off your old writing journals and join in on the fun at this free-form open mic poetry reading and jam session. There will be mingling before the poetry reading, so be sure to arrive on time to make some new friends!
