Established in 2009, Grace Redeemer Church is doing its part to reach the Crestview community for Christ.

Pastor Tyson Turner has been at the church, which meets in a red brick building at 701 E. James Lee Blvd., since 2017. He is the church’s third pastor following David Young and Ryan Alford.

The Crestview community is invited to join others from around the area for a Community Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. The service will be held at Woodlawn Baptist Church in Crestview, and childcare will be available to children up to age four.

Organized in 1992 in Valparaiso, Crossway Community Church has been meeting in Crestview since 2009. The church was a portable church for several years before moving into a permanent building at 298 Wilson St. North two years ago. Worship is Sunday morning at 10 a.m.

It would probably be easy for the members of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Huddle at Crestview High School to stay in bed an extra 30 minutes each Thursday morning.

But each week a group of Christian students arrives at school at 6:30 a.m. to share in Christ and encourage one another.
