Crestview’s Kaeden Foxx knows one thing is for sure when she heads to Eastern Illinois later this year for her first season of college volleyball.

Crestview’s boys basketball team earned a 64-55 win over rival Choctaw Thursday night.

Laurel Hill’s girls basketball team fell short of a win over L.E.A.D. Academy in a battle of state-ranked teams Thursday night. But despite that 56-47 loss, the Hoboes have had a solid season.


They have 12 wins, are ranked ninth in the Rural classification and have a chance to earn a postseason berth.

Upcoming upgrades for the Hub City recreational center known as “the ROC” include the resurfacing of its basketball court and the installation of LED lighting and new scoreboards in the facility’s gym.

Crestview Bulldog volleyball standouts Kaeden Foxx and Aubrey Sheffield are headed to the next level.


Foxx is taking her talents to Division I Eastern Illinois University while Sheffield will play at the University of Mobile, an NAIA program.
