Baker shows promise in Spring Game
On Thursday, May 14, the Baker football team hosted Florala for their Spring football game. After three weeks of hard work and battling the weather, Baker finally got to put all the pieces together in front of a home crowd.
The Gators proved to be a worthy opponent this year as they defeated Florala 33-0 in one half of football.
Easton Moore signs to Bethany College
On Thursday, May 14, Easton Moore took the next step in his athletic career.
A multi-sport athlete that thought he may never get the chance to compete at the collegiate level, signed his letter of intent to play Football and Indoor Volleyball at Bethany College in West Virginia.

The title of State Champion carries a lot of weight. It crowns a team or athlete as the best across the state in their specific sport or event.
For Baker, it had two athletes in two different sports have that crown placed upon their head in the 1A classification.
Bulldogs’ Seniors Shine in Softball Semis
The Crestview softball team wasn’t ready for their story to end, but facing the 2025 State Runner up was a difficult challenge to get past.
The Bulldogs did all they could, but a final score of 9-3 would bring their season to a close.
Michael Richards: Triton to be
Michael Richards of Baker has had an exceptional Cross Country and Track career throughout his high school years. He now gets to take those talents to Eckerd College after signing his letter of intent this past Tuesday.
A monumental moment in his life, but one that is almost shadowed by the legacy he’s left at Baker School.

It’s beginning to feel like Fall in May as the Crestview football team held their “Red vs White” game last Monday.
After already being delayed from the Friday before, the Bulldogs were ready to showcase their talents, and the new field, to Crestview football fans from around the area.

Laurel Hill’s softball team didn’t have the season they wanted, but potential was shown for years to come. The Hoboes possess a very young roster, housing only two senior players this year.
Finishing with an 8-12 overall record, numbers could rise in the win column as soon as next year.

Crestview’s boys weightlifting team didn’t have anyone medal at the FHSAA 3A state meet last Thursday at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland.
But the Bulldogs have good reason to be optimistic about the future.
Jumping with Joy, Crestview Advances
It was bound to be a showdown last Wednesday in the opening round of the FHSAA Region 1-6A softball tournament between the Horizon Hawks and Crestview Bulldogs.
These two teams were similar on paper, but Crestview performed in the field to advance after a 5-1 victory.
