Amaya DeLeon came away from the FHSAA 3A state weightlifting meet with a top five finish in Olympic.
Crestview’s standout junior placed third in the competition with a total lift of 340 lbs.
Crestview serves up a win in first home match
The Crestview Bulldog tennis team held their first home court match against the Tate Aggies last Tuesday.
The girls side swept winning all singles and doubles matches. The boys were almost perfect finishing the day 5-1.

The Crestview Bulldogs hosted the Milton Panthers in a pair preseason games this past week. The first game was played on Tuesday as the Bulldogs were getting settled into the feeling of game day.
The Bulldogs were a little slow to start, but they soon found their stride as they won 4-3.

It was the baseball season opener in Baker last Monday as the Gators hosted the Laurel Hill Hoboes in a district showdown under the lights.

The Crestview Bulldogs revisited the Niceville Eagles in the first round of the district 1-6A tournament last Tuesday.
An opponent that the Bulldogs had previously beat two weeks ago, but a 59-54 final score favored the Eagles.
Laurel Hill clashes with Jay in district tournament
Round one of the Rural District 1 tournament tipped off last Tuesday in Laurel Hill as the Hoboes faced off against the Jay Royals.
The Hoboes couldn’t get it going as their season came to an end, losing to Jay 61-52.
