Baker and Laurel Hill had athletes compete at the 1A state track meet last Saturday at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. Baker’s William Sloan had the best finish of the day, taking second in the javelin with a throw of 175 feet.

Four Crestview High School baseball players made their college commitments official on May 8 at Pounders Hawaiian Grill in Crestview. Kameron McCord and Cooper Cantrell will play next year at Coastal Alabama Community College, Kaleb Kompoltowicz will attend Spring Arbor University in Michigan while Sport Middlebrooks will play both football and baseball at Huntingdon College in Alabama.

Fans will get their first look at the 2025 Crestview football team as they host the annual red & white game on May 9 at 6 p.m. The Bulldogs, 4-6 a season ago, will be split into two teams for the intrasquad scrimmage.
