Crestview tennis brings home hardware
The Crestview tennis team has competed hard all season long preparing for the District 1-3A tournament.
That hard work paid off as the Crestview girls’ tennis team qualified for Regionals for the first time in Crestview High School history.
Baker softball goes down to the wire
It was a district softball rematch between Baker and Central last Monday, with the Gators looking to sweep the third place Jaguars.
Baker’s offense put on a performance, but it wasn’t enough to keep Central from coming back to win 12-10.
Crestview has record setting season
“It’s been 19-years since we beat that team. I mean, I don’t think any of these girls were alive at all since the last time we won. So, that’s quite an accomplishment,” assistant coach Jeff Parker said.
Bittersweet victory in Laurel Hill
The Laurel Hill baseball team hosted the Pleasant Home Eagles in their final game of the regular season last Friday.
A 15-3 victory brought the Hoboes their fifth win in their last six games, but it also brought the realization that their regular season had come to an end.
Laurel Hill softball runs wild
The Laurel Hill softball team hosted the Booker T. Washington Wildcats last Friday.
After a major 19-3 loss to Bethlehem the night before, the Hoboes flipped the score in their favor, beating Booker T. 19-4.
Crestview tennis finishes season strong
Crestview’s tennis team wrapped up its regular season last week.
The Bulldogs hosted district leader, Gulf Breeze, last Monday before finishing strong on Thursday against Walton.
Bulldogs hot start turns cold
The Crestview baseball team had a long 25-game spring season. The Bulldogs started the season with four straight wins but turned cold at the end winning only one of their last five.
In their final game of the regular season, Crestview hosted the Hebron Christian Academy Lions out of Georgia. A close game soon got out of hand as the Bulldogs lost 7-2.
Crestview handles out-of-state opponent
The Crestview softball team has been on a hot streak as of late, winning four of its last five games. Their most recent victory came last Wednesday after hosting Todd County Central.
The Bulldogs came out a little flat, but soon enough their bats came to life for a 7-1 victory over the Rebels.
Baker lifts their way to Regionals
The District-1A Weightlifting meet happened this past Wednesday at Baker. Tough competition from Jay, Pensacola Catholic, Central, and Destin showed up to lift their best weight at a chance to qualify for Regionals.
However, the 2025 state runner-up Gators took majority of the top spots and were crowned District Champions.
Baker’s Angel in the Outfield
It was a little over a year ago when Baker School senior, Kadance Fredericksen tragically passed away. That same year, Baker’s baseball team held its first “Angel in the Outfield” in honor of Fredericksen.
Last Tuesday, Baker lifted up Fredericksen’s name once again as they hosted the Central Jaguars.
