The Crestview Area Youth Association is known for its broad participation in multiple sports. The organization is now branching out with the addition of 7v7 football starting in mid-January.

The Baker volleyball team entered its match with West Florida last Monday with some slight emotion after honoring the five seniors on the roster.

It took some time to get the wheels rolling, but the Gators defeated West Florida 3-1 to increase their winning streak to seven.

Crestview’s volleyball team had a jam-packed weekend full of volleyball after traveling to Pace Sept. 26.

The Bulldogs competed in two district matchups with Pace and Navarre before finishing their day with West Florida.

The Crestview Bulldogs’ overall record dropped to 0-6 after their loss to Pace last Friday.

Despite the record, Crestview continues to fight and make each game competitive.

The Baker Gators made a trip to Panama City Beach last Thursday to take on the North Bay Haven Buccaneers.

With renovations happening to the Buccaneers’ football field, Arnold High School’s stadium was used instead. Baker came out on top with a dominating 42-6 win.

The Florida High School Athletic Association regional rankings look a little different this year.

Instead of the rankings being broken down by region each week on the FHSAA site, MaxPreps just lists the overall state rankings for each classification.
