After back-to-back trips to the Rural District 1 Boys’ Basketball finals, the Baker Gators are putting the work in early for the 2026-27 season.


Head coach Chad Martin had his guys in the gym bright and early last Tuesday as they continue to work through the summer season.

The Crestview softball field was occupied bright and early last Monday as the Bulldog’s coaching staff held their summer softball tryouts.


Athletes that were a part of the Spring high school roster, and some from the Davidson County Championship team, braved the heat to showcase their talents to try and earn a spot on the team.

Cambell Toolan’s life has revolved around the sport of softball from a young age.


Now, after a record setting season at Crestview, Toolan will take her talents to Northwest Florida State University as she becomes the newest member of the Raiders’ softball team.

On May 22, Gov. Ron DeSantis signed two Senate bills into action that affect high school level interscholastic and intrascholastic extracurricular activities.


Coaches throughout Okaloosa County have mixed feelings about what this does for high schools in the county.

Once school ends, so do sports. Most athletes have a love for the game so deep, that two months away is too long. Lucky for them, there are summer programs that allow them to continue perfecting their skills and playing the game.


Crestview High School held their boys’ and girls’ summer basketball tryouts last Thursday for those athletes.

Signing to a college for Track and Field is no easy task for a high school athlete. Roughly six to seven percent of high school track and field athletes advance to compete at the collegiate level.


Crestview’s Aiden Falletta and Jaden Cruthird are now a part of that six percent.

The Davidson Panther football team hosted their second annual spring football game Thursday May 21.


The White team was looking to pull out a victory, but Teal came out victorious for the second time with a final score of 8-6.

The 2026 spring season was one for the history books when it came to Crestview’s tennis team. A powerful boys’ team filled with top-notch performing seniors, and a rising girls’ team with young talent.


This group accomplished what no other team had done previously for Crestview High School tennis, and they’ve got the hardware to prove it.

Tianna Hill has played softball at Crestview her entire high school career.


Now, she will continue to make plays in the field for the Reid State Community College Lions after signing her letter of intent May 17.

The Pensacola Sports 2026 All-Star baseball game was played this past Thursday at Pensacola State College.


Baker Head Coach Preston Nixon took control over the East roster and found himself a 7-0 victory over the West.
