There’s a changing of the guard for Laurel Hill volleyball.  

Longtime Hobo coach Kent Zessin is stepping down and former multi-sport star Kasey Harrison Campbell is stepping up for the job.

For close to 25 years, Crestview’s baseball camp has been teaching players the fundamentals of the game to boys and girls ages 4 to 13.

This year’s camp is scheduled for May 31 and June 1 at the Crestview High School baseball complex.

Baker wrapped up its first spring under new head coach Barry Gardner last Monday with a scrimmage.

The scrimmage had been scheduled for May 13, but lightning in the area forced it to be postponed.
Gardner was, for the most part, happy with what he saw from the team.

Crestview traveled south to Fort Walton Beach High School’s Steve Riggs Stadium for a spring football jamboree Friday night.

The Bulldogs faced off against Pine Forest, Catholic and Fort Walton Beach as Thomas Grant was at the helm of the program for the first time against live competition.

The Baker School football team will wrap up spring practice on Friday, May 13, with the annual Maroon and Gold game at Doug Griffith Memorial Stadium. The game is scheduled for 6 p.m.
