Coming off an open date last week, Crestview’s football team jumps into the fire of district play on Friday. And it doesn’t get any bigger in the district than play than taking on longtime rival Niceville.
Baker hosts Stingrays for Homecoming 2022
Homecoming 2022 at Baker School draws to a close on Friday as the Gators host Lighthouse Christian Academy in a 7 p.m. game at Doug Griffith Memorial Stadium.
The Gator Growl pep rally is scheduled for 8:30 on Friday morning. The Homecoming Parade will leave the school at 4 p.m. And the crowing of the Homecoming Queen will take place at half time of the game.
Baker volleyball team makes quick work of Freeport
It didn’t take the Baker School volleyball team long to take down Freeport on Monday. In fact, the match ended quick enough for National Football League fans to get home in time to watch the Monday night game between Dallas and the New York Giants.
The Gators swept the Bulldogs in straight sets by scores of 25-6, 25-11, 25-18.
Chiefs too strong for the Gators
For those of you inquiring minds that were curious if Northview running back Jamarkus Jefferson is as good as advertised, the answer is a resounding yes.
Jefferson showed just how good he is rushing for 236 yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries to lead the Chiefs to a 49-10 win over Baker on Friday. Jefferson has some pretty good teammates too.

down North Okaloosa County rival Baker on Thursday in straight sets by scores of 25-17, 25-18. 25-19.
The Bulldogs, who only won two matches last season, have now won three straight under first-year coach James Kerrell.
Gators go on road to face undefeated Chiefs
The Baker football team has its work cut out for it on Friday when the Gators travel to Bratt to take on the undefeated Northview Chiefs.
Baker (3-1) played Northview in the Kickoff Classic, which at very best was somewhat of a glorified scrimmage. Friday’s game is for real as are the 4-0 Chiefs.
Crestview volleyball team sweeps Vikings
It was as easy as one, two, three on Tuesday as the Crestview High School volleyball team beat county rival Fort Walton Beach in straight sets by scores of 25-11, 25-23, 25-23.
There was a ribbon-cutting ceremony before the match to make the new court that replaced the original floor official.
Thomas top Bulldog threat at receiver
Issac Thomas looks like a football wide receiver as well as a high school basketball small forward.
At 6-foot-4, the Bulldog junior has the height and athleticism to challenge opposing defense and the speed to stretch the field.
Crestview girls golf team still building program up
Crestview girls golf coach Dan Byerly is upbeat when he talks about his team.
He praises the girls for their work and attitude as they compete against schools with more experience and better training.
