Bulldogs return to celebrate 2002 campaign
The number might have been fewer than hoped for, but the memories were many as players, cheerleaders and coaches from the 2002 Crestview football team that was state runner up was recognized before Friday’s game with Milton.
Making the evening special had to be seeing the Bulldogs beat the Panthers 49-28.
Bulldogs host Leon for Homecoming 2022
Looking on paper at how the Crestview football team has done this year and comparing it to Friday’s Homecoming opponent, Leon, the Bulldogs should take care of the Lions fairly easily.
Crestview has outscored Leon by 161 points (241-80). The Bulldogs have allowed 118 fewer points (322-204). But as any coach will quickly tell you, games aren’t played on paper. And Homecoming games can often be trap games with all the distractions of the week.
Crestview golfer wins Okaloosa county championship
It was a red-letter day for Crestview golfer Alex Fagan on Wednesday at the Okaloosa County Championship. The Bulldog senior won the tournament shooting an 80 at the Links Course at Sandestin.
He finished three shots ahead of his closest competitor.
Baker volleyball team makes it two decades of dominance
They say the best surprise is no surprise. There were no surprises on Thursday as the Baker volleyball team embarked on capturing a 20th consecutive district championship at Central High School.
The only team standing between the Gators and their crown was rival Jay. The Royals are a rival but they were no match for a Baker team on a mission. The Gators swept the match in straight sets by scores of 25-14, 25-10, 25-18.
Gators take down Freeport
One week after being shut out by Blountstown the Baker football team showed it still has some firepower left.
Kayleb Wagner rushed for 330 yards and five touchdowns. And Colton Weekley added three scores as the Gators beat Freeport 52-35.
Crestview’s offense explodes in win over Milton
A pair of Northwest Florida high school football heavyweights squared off at Crestview’s Jack Foster Stadium on Friday as Milton came to town to take on the Bulldogs.
Both teams needed a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. A loss could end either team’s chances of playing on past the first Friday in November.

It will seem like old times on Friday when the Crestview football team hosts Milton in a 7 p.m. game at Jack Foster Stadium. Players, cheerleaders and coaches from the 2002 Class 3A state runner up team will be honored at half time.
