Okaloosa County officials hope to soon find out whether the county will be awarded $16.8 million in Triumph Gulf Coast money to allow for the completion of a more than $1 billion economic investment project at the Shoal River Ranch industrial park.
The University of Florida, IFAS and Pensacola State College Milton Campus is having its annual Spring Festival of Flowers on April 4, 5 & 6, 2025. Over one-hundred vendors selling plants from natives to ornamentals as well as various craft and food vendors. The event proceeds will be used for student scholarships, student field trips, and student computer lab needs at the University of Florida, IFAS Milton Programs.

Phillips as Police Officer of the Year and Crestview Fire Department Deputy Chief Kenneth Mason as Firefighter of the Year.
