At Crestview’s Veterans Day Ceremony this morning, U.S. Air Force veteran and Hub City Mayor J.B. Whitten talked about a subject that he kept deeply buried until about four years ago, “when as a Vietnam War veteran, I attended a welcome home that we never received at the end of that war.”
