Baker advances in overtime thriller
Baker hosted Central in the rural district 1 tournament Thursday with a chance to advance to the finals for a second year straight.

Laurel Hill clashes with Jay in district tournament
Round one of the Rural District 1 tournament tipped off last Tuesday in Laurel Hill as the Hoboes faced off against the Jay Royals.

Laurel Hill baseball retains key players for 2026 improvement
It is only William Barton’s second year as the Laurel Hill head baseball coach. A major benefit for the coach was the ability to retain the majority of his 2024-25 players.
With three seniors graduating last year, Coach Barton will have 11 returning to play Hoboe baseball for the 2026-27 season.
