Crestview tennis keeps rolling
Crestview tennis has all the momentum as districts approach.
The boys’ team has won four straight after sweeping West Florida last Tuesday. The girls beat West Florida 5-2 in their match, winning three in-a-row for the Bulldogs.
Laurel Hill softball springs back from break
The Laurel Hill softball team had a rough start to the season, only winning one game before spring break.
The Hoboes returned and put together a three-game winning streak, before their most recent game against Lighthouse Private Christian Academy handed the Hoboes an 18-17 loss in extras.
Baker gets win over number two in the region
The Baker softball team went on the road last Tuesday for a tough matchup against district opponent Central.
As of March 31, Central sits at number two in the FHSAA Rural Region 1 softball rankings, with an overall record of 11-1. That record gained a loss last Tuesday as the Gators beat Central 11-6.
Gators stay composed in close game against Warriors
The Baker baseball team have been trying to find their footing since coming back from spring break.
After the weeklong vacation, the Gators record between the past four games is 2-2, with their most recent victory over Pensacola Christian Academy this past Tuesday.
Momentum on the rise for Bulldog softball
The Crestview softball team took to the road over the weekend to compete in a two-day tournament in Gadsden, AL.
After a 4-0 performance, the Bulldogs turned right around and carried the weekend momentum into last Monday’s game against the Mosley Dolphins at home with a run-rule 11-1 win.
Bulldogs have full day of baseball in double header
The Crestview baseball team got a visit from Dothan, AL as they hosted the Houston Academy Raiders in a double header last Monday.
Game one went into Major League innings until the Bulldogs were finally able to get one across in the ninth for a 5-4 win. Game two wasn’t as favorable for Crestview with the Raiders winning 6-4 after seven.

When the Florida legislature passed a bill allowing booster clubs to pay high school coaches extra money, the first thought was that it sounds great on paper.
But when you look at it a little closer, it’s nothing more than an easy win for the legislature.
Baker unable to capitalize with runners on base
The Baker softball team loaded the bases four separate times during their game against Freeport last Friday.
Despite having 14 hits on the night, Baker was only able to get six across the plate, falling to Freeport 7-6 in extra innings.
Crestview baseball team ‘slides’ into four game losing streak
It was a rough Thursday night as the Crestview Bulldog baseball team went up against No. 1 Pace. The last time these two teams faced one another, the Patriots came out on top 2-0.
That was not the case for last week’s game as the Patriots run-ruled the Bulldogs 10-0 by the sixth inning.
Crestview Tennis shows out on Senior Day
It was ‘Senior Day’ for the Crestview tennis team last Thursday. A day spent recognizing the six senior players on the teams and sharing their future goals.
After the ceremony, the players got ready to take on their opponents from Mosley. The boys won their side 6-1, and the girls swept Mosley 7-0.
