Hayden embraces the opportunity as Crestview High School principal
It has been 34 years since Vickie Hayden walked the halls of Crestview High School as a student.
A 1989 graduate of Crestview, by her own admission, the once-shy clarinet player is returning to her alma mater as the principal. She replaces Jay Sanders, who announced his retirement last month.

Northwest Florida State College announces commencement speakers
Northwest Florida State College recently announced its 2023 Commencement Keynote speakers, Marcus Chambers and Russell Hughes. Northwest Florida State College will host two commencement ceremonies May 6, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Delivering remarks at the 10 a.m. ceremony will be Chambers, superintendent of the Okaloosa County School District.
