Free debate camp to be held at NWFL State College
On the weekend of Friday, June 10 through Sunday, June 12, middle school and high school age students will have the opportunity to take part in a three-day debate camp featuring local leaders at Northwest Florida State College.
The debate camp is organized by Incubate Debate. According to their website, Incubate Debate is a non-profit debate initiative for high school students from Florida’s rural and urban communities.

The Baker School valedictorian, with a 4.6 grade point average, will soon be moving to Jacksonville to attend the University of North Florida and pursue a degree in nursing. Her long-term goal is to be a nurse practitioner.

Hongloan Tran’s time at Crestview High School has been a mixture of happy and sad, a time of celebration mixed with a feeling of being cheated out of some of the experience by the pandemic.
But Tran, the 2022 CHS salutatorian will carry so many memories with her as she heads into the adult world.
