Lady Gators take care of business in extra innings win
Elvis Presley would have been proud of the Baker softball team on Tuesday night.
Simply put, the Lady Gators were taking care of business in a 7-6 extra inning win over Northview.
Martin leads Bulldogs past Choctaw
Bryson Martin gave the Crestview baseball team the boost it needed on Monday night in a game against rival Choctawhatchee.
Martin turned in six solid innings on the mound and got a little help from his defense as Bulldogs beat the Indians 9-5.
Braves beat Bulldogs
The Crestview baseball team couldn’t overcome a big second inning by Walton on Friday.
The Braves scored seven runs in the second inning and added two in the third. The nine runs were enough as Walton beat the Bulldogs 9-7.
Breaks go against Lady Bulldogs in loss to Niceville
Sometimes the breaks don’t go your way in sports.
That was the case for the Crestview softball team on Thursday night as the Lady Bulldogs hosted rival Niceville. Despite not having anybody strike out, Crestview fell to the Eagles 13-4.
Crestview boys and girls fall to Destin in tennis
It was a tough afternoon for the Crestview High School tennis teams on Wednesday, April 5.
The Bulldogs traveled south to Destin and took on the Sharks. In the end, it was the Sharks taking down the Bulldogs 4-3 in the boys and 5-2 in the girls.
Lady Hoboes drop heartbreaker to Vernon
A two-hitter by Hannah Twitty of the Lady Hoboes softball team wasn’t enough to propel Laurel Hill to victory on Tuesday.
The one hit, a three-run triple by Vernon in the top of the seventh inning proved to be the difference as the Lady Yellow Jackets took down Laurel Hill 5-3.
Several area teams ranked among the best in region
A few area teams find themselves in a good spot in the first edition of the regional rankings.
Ruschmeier gives it his all for Bulldog baseball
Brayden Ruschmeier won’t soon be forgotten by Crestview baseball coach Tim Gillis. Ruschmeier, a senior, is in the final weeks of his Bulldog baseball career and has left a lasting impression the longtime coach.

A chilly spring evening at the Crestview High School baseball complex didn’t stop the Bulldogs and Milton from locking horns in a very good high school game.
Runs were at a minimal and pitching was at a premium. In the end, Crestview had a little more of each than the Panthers. When the final out was recorded it was the Bulldogs taking the 4-2 win.
