Niceville pulls away from Lady Bulldogs
It was another night of frustration for the Crestview volleyball team on Thursday as the Lady Bulldogs hosted Niceville.
After winning the first set, the Lady Bulldogs found themselves tied with the Lady Eagles nine times in the second set and eight times in the third set only to lose both sets. In the first set, won by Crestview, there were also five ties.
Lady Hoboes fall to Freeport
At times the Laurel Hill volleyball team seems so close to a win only to have that win slip so far away.
Such was the case on Monday when the Lady Hoboes hosted Freeport.
Italian exchange student right at home with Lady Bulldogs
At first glance Caterina Dall’olio looks like every other member of the Crestview Lady Bulldogs volleyball team. Her tan-olive complexion and athletic body blends well with her teammates.
However, Dall’olio isn’t a typical Lady Bulldog. She’s currently attending Crestview High School as part of the exchange student program.

It’s that time of the volleyball season when the walking wounded seem to outnumber the healthy players on a team.
A key injury here or there can often spell the difference in a set or a match. But that can be said of every team in any sport as teams move into the back half of the schedule.
Bragg Memorial Stadium site of 2023 state football championship games
The state championship games for all classifications will be held at Bragg Memorial Stadium in Tallahassee Dec. 7-9.

The Laurel Hill volleyball team was so close and yet so far away in Tuesday’s match with Pensacola Christian Academy.
Although the Lady Warriors won the match 3-1, every set was a battle. Set scores were 30-28, 17-25. 26-24. 25-23.
Lady Gators sweep Jay
Baker’s volleyball team did its part in The War on Highway 4.
The Lady Gators swept the Lady Royals 3-0 by scores of 25-13, 25-8, 25-14.
Mistakes costly as Gators fall to Royals
It’s hard to say if the Baker football team is better than its record indicates.
After Friday’s 14-3 loss to Jay, the Gators find themselves 0-4 on the season. As the saying goes, you’re as good or bad as your record indicates.
Crestview girls golf team finishes third
It was a tough home-opening match for Crestview’s girls golf team on Thursday.
The Lady Bulldogs hosted local power Niceville along with neighbors Fort Walton Beach and Choctawhatchee at Blackwater Golf Course.

Thursday was a tough night for the Crestview volleyball team.
The Lady Bulldogs traveled south on Highway 85 to take on rival Niceville. And while a tenacious Crestview team didn’t wilt under the pressure of a constant attack from the home team, but it was never able to get the upper hand.
