Lady Bulldog pitchers Jules Forrest and Cambell Toolan combined for a 5-hitter and struck out eight Choctaw batters on Tuesday.
The result was a 4-2 win for the Crestview softball team.

Lady Bulldogs aim for deep playoff run in flag football
Crestview’s flag football team hosted Pace in the home opener on Friday night with the Lady Patriots coming out on top 14-6.
The only Lady Bulldog score came on a touchdown pass from senior quarterback Kaitlyn Kemp to freshman receiver Taliana Matienzo with 3:41 left in the first quarter. Pace tied the game early in the second quarter and scored the game winner late in the third period.
Some of Florida’s best lifters showcased at Baker Invitational
Some of the top high school weightlifters in the state of Florida gathered in Baker on Wednesday for the Baker Invitational Meet.
Ten schools were on hand including Santa Rosa County powerhouses Pace, Navarre and Milton. Baker and Crestview were joined by Okaloosa County neighbors Choctawhatchee, Fort Walton Beach and Niceville. Rounding out the field were Pensacola Catholic and Wewahitchka.
Bulldogs drop baseball opener to Mosley
There was no joy in Crestview High School baseball complex on Tuesday night.
The Bulldogs opened the season with a talented Mosley squad and were no match for the visiting Dolphins. Crestview managed just two hits by Anthony St. Vincent in a 7-0 loss.

Madi Muse caps Crestview career with state weightlifting title
Madi Muse stood on the floor of the RP Funding Center Friday night wearing the medal around her neck she had always dreamed about.
“It’s really emotional,” Muse said. “I’ve been building for four years for this. I finally got the No. 1 spot. I went out with a bang.”
