Coming into a big district match-up against rival Jay, the Baker boys’ basketball team had all the momentum.

After a brief break to celebrate the new year, the Laurel Hill girls’ basketball team returned to the court in dominant fashion with a 65-24 victory over Destin on Jan. 3.

Laurel Hill is now 9-4 on the year.

In her first couple of years with the Crestview girls’ basketball team, it was hard for M’Jay Johnson to make an impact.

Now, in her senior season she is making her presence felt.
