Madolyn Mills of Baker will continue her volleyball career at Jones College, an NJCAA school in Mississippi.

Mills starred for the Gators as she helped the team to five district championships, three final fours and a state championship in 2023.

Maddox Smith, a senior at the Baker School, officially signed to continue his athletic career at Southern Virginia University on May 19.

Smith, a star in both baseball and football for the Gators, will primarily play football for the Knights who are a member of the USA South Athletic Conference in Division III of the NCAA.

Three players from North Okaloosa County played in the Pensacola Sports All-Star baseball game at Pensacola State College on May 16.

Florida Gateway College is an NJCAA school and is in Lake City.

Baker’s Mckenzie McGraw made her college decision official on May 15, as she signed with Bishop State in a ceremony at the school.

McGraw becomes the sixth member of the 2023 state championship volleyball team to sign to play collegiately.

The Laurel Hill boys basketball program made strides in 2024.

Even though they were a younger team, they were competitive and played better than their record showed.

This past season set a strong foundation for the Laurel Hill girls basketball program.

They went 13-8 under head coach, Carl Henry, and advanced to the district semifinals.
