The Crestview football team is in the early stages of the 2025 season. Even though there is not much the team can do on the field before spring practice begins at the end of April, the Bulldogs are putting in the work necessary in the weight room to be successful.

With a victory in their latest dual meet over Central on March 12, the Baker boys weightlifting program completed their 15th straight undefeated regular season in dual and tri meets. Baker took first place in all 10 weight classes for Traditional lifting, while the Gators also won both Olympic and Traditional in eight additional classes.

With the baseball and softball seasons nearly halfway finished, area schools were placed by the FHSAA in the March 17 edition. Baker was the highest baseball team among the rural schools in the county as they were placed 10th overall and fourth among teams in region 1.

Heading into the mid-point of the season, the Baker softball team stands at 5-3. With a very young roster that includes 12 players who are sophomores or younger, the Gators have exceeded expectations up to this point.

The Crestview High School boys weightlifting team finished eighth in traditional and seventh in traditional lifting at the Navarre Invitational on March 12. Crestview finished with 14 points in both categories, while Pace won the meet with 58 and 51 points in each category, respectively.

Crestview High School’s tennis program continued to show the progress they have made as they split the boys and girls matches against Choctaw on March 12. The Bulldogs won on the boys side, 6-1, while the girls team dropped a close decision, 3-4.
