Eagles too strong for Bulldogs
In a perfect world with story book chapters, the first chapter of the new Crestview gym floor would have ended in a win. That was not to be as a young Bulldog volleyball team hosted a talented Niceville squad.
The Eagles flexed their muscle in sweeping the match in straight sets 3-0, but not before Crestview showed there was still some third-set fight left in it.
Jace Tolbert embraces leadership role for Gators
Every football team needs a Jace Tolbert.
Tolbert might not be the biggest or the fastest Baker football player. And as is the case with most Class 1A players, his final high school football game will be the last time he takes the field in full pads.
Baker stays hot with win
Don’t look now, but Baker’s football team is playing, well, like a Baker football team.
Kayleb Wagner eclipsed 200 yards rushing for the third-consecutive game and scored two touchdowns as the Gators went on the road and beat Jefferson County 36-12.
Bulldog defense shines in win over Pace
A hard-nosed Crestview Bulldog football team showed its teeth on Friday against undefeated Pace in their home opener.
After narrowly losing to Gulf Breeze and Choctawhatchee in hard-luck games it almost seemed as if the football gods owed the Bulldogs a break. When Crestview misplayed a kickoff after a Pace touchdown setting up another quick score by the visitors it seemed as if a black cloud was over Jack Foster Stadium on the beautiful late summer night.
Choctaw slips past Bulldogs
The Crestview High School football team learned a truth that fans of the classic Rock and Roll band, Three Dog Night have known for years: “One is the loneliest number.”
Gators hope to extend winning streak
Baker football coach Barry Gardner will be the first to tell you don’t judge a book by its cover when looking at Friday’s opponent Jefferson County. The Gators will make the trip east to take on the 0-3 Tigers in a 6:30 start local time.
Jefferson County has been outscored 112-8 in the three loses. Things come into clearer focus when one looks at who the Tigers have played. Port St. Joe, North Florida Christian and St. John Paul II are teams that will give anyone trouble.
Bulldogs set to play Pace in football home opener
Crestview High School’s road warrior football team plays its first game of the season in the friendly confines of Jack Foster Stadium on Friday when the Bulldogs host undefeated Pace at 7 p.m.
Not only is it the first home game of the season, it’s Bulldog Hall of Fame Night and Senior Night.

Crestview swim team turns in solid effort
Crestview’s swim team took to the home water for the first time of the 2022 season on Saturday as it hosted Fort Walton Beach.
And while the Vikings won the meet, the Bulldogs had several swimmers stand out, a good sign for the second-year program, which is under the direction of head coach David Hernandez.
Bulldog volleyball team rallies to beat Vikings
