War of Highway 4 renews Friday night

Some games just mean more. The annual football game between Baker and Jay, known as the War of Highway 4, is one of those games. This year it’s the Gators making the trip west to meet the Royals in a 7 p.m. game on Friday. Baker senior linebacker and tight end Tucker Martin will be playing in his fourth varsity rendition of the football war.
Baker’s Makani Abdon (52) and Trevor Hansen (80) drive Northview defenders off the line of scrimmage. Baker coach Barry Gardner said the Gators will need to be physical to beat Jay on Friday.
