Deputies capture suspect hiding in foliage
Joshua Douglas, who had active warrants for fleeing and eluding, possession of a controlled substance, resisting without violence, and driving on a suspended license, reportedly ran from Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputies into the woods near Summertime Drive in Holt on Tuesday.

Hope abounds for men with addictions
Project Hope, an addiction recovery ministry, has been in Okaloosa County since 2016 and in the Crestview community for about three years.
Project Hope was founded in Houston in 2012. The location now in Crestview was the second. A third location is in Arkansas with plans underway to open a location in the Birmingham, Alabama, area.
