A mission trip to remember

It was a mission trip to remember for 19 members of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church as they traveled to Uganda last month to share the Gospel of Jesus. Pilgrim Rest pastor Geoff Prows took his entire family on the trip. making it even more meaningful.

Serving in Sunset Village

In Matthew 19:14 Jesus told the disciples not to keep the children away from Him because the Kingdom of Heaven was made up of children. Members of Woodlawn Baptist Church put that truth to practice last week as they hosted a Backyard Bible Club at Sunset Village. The event was part of the ongoing ministry the church has in Sunset Village.

Hope City Church growing in Crestview and favor with God

Pastor Josh Neel and his congregation at Hope City Community Church are on a mission that should excite any follower of Christ. The church was established a little more than a year ago meeting at Shoal River Middle School. Hope City still meets at the Shoal River location with services at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. each Sunday morning.

A long-term vision for Emmanuel Baptist

It has been a busy spring and early summer for Shan Taylor, the new senior pastor at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Crestview.

Taylor, his wife Meagan and their family of three children welcomed a new family member with the birth of their fourth child all the while making the move to The Hub City from Paducah, Kent.

The night before their graduation, members of the Crestview High School Class of 2023 gathered at Woodlawn Baptist Church in a time of praise and worship at the Baccalaureate service. The service centered on the changes the graduates are facing and encouraged them to lean on an unchanging God.
