Seventeen years ago in a pre-school ministry class, Pastor Ronnie Bearden was having trouble connecting with his students.

Walthall grew up in Crestview and attended First Baptist Church in Crestview.

Local area churches are coming together on November 3rd for “Raise the Standard”, an event taking place outside the Okaloosa County Circuit Court.

The event will begin at 6:30 PM.

Most churches are empty during the weekday mornings.

However, tucked away in a classroom on the campus of First Baptist Church, a conversation of faith and prayer continues.
