Nineteen-year-old Debra Espey was a quiet, sweet, all-American girl, Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office officials said Tuesday in a news release.

The biological parents of a three-month-old boy recently were arrested by Crestview Police after the couple allegedly inflicted or permitted the infliction of serious bodily injury to the infant.

The Crestview News Bulletin has learned additional information about the two teens accused in the death of 14-year-old Danika Troy in Pace in early December.

After being served with a warrant by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, county jail inmate Rogelio De La Cruz Rosquero, 25, of Fort Worth, Texas, was arrested on Monday for allegedly storing hundreds of images and videos of child pornography on his cellphone.

Briana J. Carrera, 38, of the 5200 block of Old Bethel Road in Crestview, recently was arrested by city police on charges of battery on hospital staff, assault on a law enforcement officer, and resisting an officer without violence.

James L. Reese, 47, of the 300 block of Bel Aire Drive in Crestview, recently was arrested by city police on a felony charge of false imprisonment of a person.

Nigel Flemen, 49, of the 500 block of Forrest Court, just outside of Crestview’s city limits, was arrested Monday on two counts of lewd or lascivious battery on a victim age 12 to 16 after being served with a warrant by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.

Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Colin R. Savoie was arrested Wednesday on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

Crestview resident Todd Lee Taylor, 56, was found guilty last Tuesday of lewd or lascivious molestation (victim over 12 but less than 16 years old, defendant over 18 years old), lewd or lascivious battery (victim 12-15 years of age, defendant over 18 years old) and burglary of a dwelling with a lewd or lascivious battery.

An Okaloosa County jury on Nov. 5 found Malik Humphries, of Crestview, guilty of trafficking in 28 grams or more of fentanyl and resisting an officer without violence.
