Florida Highway Patrol Troopers responded to a report of an active shooter in Holmes County Monday, April 8.  The suspect was reportedly a female who had recently checked out of a local hotel and told the staff she was going on a shooting spree, directed by “God” in relation to the solar eclipse.

On Thursday, March 7, Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office changed Peggy Rambosk, 57, of Pensacola, with child neglect. She was apprehended Thursday and booked at Escambia County Jail.

On Feb. 9, an Okaloosa County Jury found Ledesma Wooden guilty of Attempted First Degree Premeditated Murder, First Degree Premeditated Murder, and Aggravated Battery Causing Great Bodily Harm. Mr. Wooden was sentenced to mandatory life in prison.
