There was plenty to celebrate as the2022-23 Crestview Lady Bulldogs basketball team reunited for one final time on Thursday.
The varsity finished the year with a 21-8 record, won the district championship and advanced to the Sweet 16 in Class 6A.

Baker’s track teams had a solid day at the District 1-1A meet in Jay, with the girls taking home the team title and the boys placing second.

It’s not hard to image Baker senior Clint Merritt catching some waves in the Gulf of Mexico.

There’s plenty of work to do for the Baker football team as it opens spring practice on May 1. The Gators will conclude spring drills on May 16 with the Maroon and White game.

Barry Gardner, now in his second year as the Gator head coach, can look at this spring as being one of obstacles or opportunities.

Crestview head football coach Thomas Grant isn’t getting around very well these days after having surgery to repair a broken ankle and some ligament damage.

But even slowed by injuries, the second-year Bulldog boss is ready for things to get started on Monday when teams across the state open spring football practice. Crestview concludes spring practice with a spring game against Pensacola High School at 6 p.m. on May 19.

A magical season for the Baker School baseball team continued on Tuesday.
There was nothing fancy or dramatic about the performance of the Gators against Rocky Bayou Christian. What there was though was good pitching, solid defense and a team swinging the bats very well.

One was the loneliest number for the Crestview High School baseball team on Monday as the Bulldogs hosted West Florida in the last home game of the regular season.
Bulldog leadoff hitter Bryson Martin reached base and scored in the first inning. For a while it looked like the run would be enough, but it wasn’t.
