Lady Bulldogs hold off Navarre
The Crestview Lady Bulldogs hosted Navarre in first round of the District 1-6A girls basketball tournament. The Lady Raiders almost proved to be too much for the home team to handle.
Crestview led by 14 points with a little more than 12 minutes left in the game and then hung on for dear life. A gutsy Navarre squad fought to the bitter end coming up a point short as the Lady Bulldogs took win 48-47.

Muse, Conlee headed to state for Crestview in girls weightlifting
Northwest Florida will be well represented at the 3A FHSAA state weightlifting meet next Friday in Lakeland. The meet begins at 1 p.m. EST that day.
Madi Muse and Aniston Conlee will represent Crestview at state. Muse won the Olympic regional crown at 119 and Conlee is the traditional champ at 119.

Crestview baseball prepares for upcoming season
There’s nothing that says spring is right around the corner than the start of the high school baseball season.
Teams across the state of Florida can play preseason games starting Feb. 12 and begin regular season play on Feb. 19.

Lady Hoboes hold on for win
The Laurel Hill Lady Hoboes traveled south to Niceville on Thursday to take on Rocky Bayou Christian.
Even before the game started, it seemed the deck might be stacked against the visitors. Coach Carl Henry Jr. missed the game due to illness. Things then went from bad to worse before getting better for LHS.

Lady Gators make quick work of East Hill
Nobody could accuse Lady Gator basketball coach Chelsea Medley of running up the score or padding the statistics of her starters on Tuesday night as Baker hosted East Hill Christian.
Baker dominated the first half holding the Eagles to a single basket in the first quarter and scoreless in the second quarter in taking a 23-2 lead into the half.

Hoboes fall to Holmes County
If only Laurel Hill had had another minute or two on Monday night in the boys basketball game between the Hoboes and Holmes County might have had a different outcome.
If only a couple of the 3-point shots Laurel Hill players usually make had gone in, the end results might have been a Hobo win.

Lady Gators dominate district weightlifting meet
The Baker Lady Gator weightlifting team is quickly making its mark in the same way the Baker volleyball team has. In other words, by dominating the opposition.
That was again the case on Friday as Baker hosted the District 1-1A girls weightlifting tournament.

Lady Bulldogs bomb Mosley
A slow start against Mosley on Senior Night for the Crestview Lady Bulldogs basketball team was no indication of things to come.
Crestview held a slim 8-4 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Lady Bulldogs were only getting warmed up as the teams headed to the second quarter.

Richard leads Crestview past Leon
The Crestview Lady Bulldogs soccer team opened District 2-6A tournament play on Wednesday night at home against Leon in hopes of advancing to the semifinals against top seed Niceville.
As has been the case in the previous two matches, Lady Bulldog Mary Richard was at it again. Richard scored three goals and picked up the hat trick for the third consecutive match.

Hoboes bomb Gators
To apply a saying from baseball to basketball, fans dig the long ball. And Laurel Hill fans were digging what they saw as the Hoboes hosted Baker in boys basketball on Tuesday.
Long balls were in abundance for Laurel Hill as the Hoboes hit 12 shots from 3-point range on their way to a 62-35 win over the Gators.
