Okaloosa’s Aden among sheriffs to endorse Congressional candidate
The sheriffs of four counties in Florida’s 1st Congressional District have endorsed Jimmy Patronis in his run for Congress. Sheriff Chip Simmons of Escambia, Sheriff Bob Johnson of Santa Rosa, Sheriff Eric Aden of Okaloosa, and Sheriff Michael Adkinson Jr. of Walton County announced their support for the Florida Chief Financial Officer’s campaign on Dec. 20.

Drug Task Force arrests man at Crestview motel
Crestview resident Anterious McClain, 33, was arrested on numerous charges Friday after the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Multi-Agency Drug Task Force executed a narcotics search warrant at the Hilton Motel, 353 W. James Lee Boulevard (U.S. Highway 90), in Crestview.
