A small part of Crestview has been upgraded
Other than a section of new fencing that was damaged by the May 10 tornado, and the remains of a storm-toppled tree, a vacant lot that until recently had long served as a dumping ground next to downtown Crestview is in much better condition these days.

Fish plucked from the Gulf will swim in Crestview
Native species of fish such as colorful angelfish and damselfish, as well as invasive lionfish, that live in the Gulf of Mexico will go on display later this year in two aquariums at the Crestview Welcome and Adventure Center.

In honor of fallen warriors
First Sgt. Alicia Nava-Bagnato of the 7th Special Forces Group will serve as the guest speaker at this year’s Memorial Day Ceremony in Crestview.
Conducted by American Legion Riders Post 75, the ceremony is set to begin at 10 a.m. next Monday at the Okaloosa County Veterans Memorial.
