Pastor Josh Neel and his congregation at Hope City Community Church are on a mission that should excite any follower of Christ. The church was established a little more than a year ago meeting at Shoal River Middle School. Hope City still meets at the Shoal River location with services at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. each Sunday morning.

It has been a busy spring and early summer for Shan Taylor, the new senior pastor at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Crestview.

Taylor, his wife Meagan and their family of three children welcomed a new family member with the birth of their fourth child all the while making the move to The Hub City from Paducah, Kent.

Hope for Heroes was held at Woodlawn Baptist Church on June 15.

The event, which was sponsored by the Scott Dawson Evangelistic Association, featured a concert by Christian recording artist Cochran and Cochran.

Taylor is a former pastor of First Baptist Church of Holt and the founding pastor of the Shepherd’s Church, which is located on Highway 4 in Milligan.
