City of Crestview officials recently issued a development order for an 84-room Candlewood Suites hotel that’s slated to be built near the Interstate 10 interchange at State Road 85.

Adora Mcelheney, the owner of the “Smokin Country Flava” food truck in Crestview, fell in love again with her high school sweetheart in 2019.
Food was their shared passion, both working in the food industry. She herself was a manager of different restaurants such as Whataburger and Shoney’s, and he is what Mcelheney describes as a “master griller.”

“We would think about what it would look like to open a café with maybe sandwiches and coffee,” Benjamin Donnell said. “We were always talking about something, and the Lord opened the door for us to do something with ice cream and that is the direction we decided to go into. We knew this is what we needed right now.”
