Two proposed shopping centers are in different stages of development north of U.S. Highway 90 in Crestview, City Manager Tim Bolduc said at today’s Crestview Area Chamber of Commerce Networking Breakfast at the city Community Center.
Baker resident Liz Bears quickly peeled stickers from pages and gave them to scores of north Okaloosa County area residents and other folks who filed past her at the Crestview Community Center on Wednesday evening.
The message on the stickers read, “Stop North Okaloosa Run Away Growth.”
One reads, “Jesus Loves You,” with the shape of a heart representing the “o” in “Loves.”
Another pays tribute to “Mable Edge, Coney Island Icon, ‘What Fer Ya.’”
And another honors “Nicholai Jewett, 06-25-1981-07-02-2008, A Proud Soldier for his Country & the Lord, rest in God’s peace.”
