NOTICE OF PROPOSED ENACTMENT OF AN ORDINANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Florida Statute, the City Code, and Operating Policies, the City of Crestview proposes to adopt the following Ordinance set forth by title.
A Public Hearing for the second and final reading will be held before the Crestview City Council on Monday, October 28, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible to consider enactment of the Ordinance.
All meetings will be held in the City Hall Council Chambers, 198 Wilson Street North, Crestview, Florida 32536.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CRESTVIEW, FLORIDA GRANTING A NON-EXCLUSIVE FRANCHISE TO CHOCTAWHATCHEE ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC., TO MAINTAIN AND OPERATE AN ELECTRIC PLANT AND AN ELECTRIC TRANSMISSION AND DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM IN THE CITY OF CRESTVIEW AND TO CONSTRUCT, MAINTAIN, OPERATE AND EXTEND ELECTRIC TRANSMISSION AND DISTRIBUTION LINES IN THE STREETS AND PUBLIC PLACES OF SAID CITY; PROVIDING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SUCH GRANT, PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; PROVIDING FOR LIBERAL INTERPRETATION; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF CONFLICTING CODES AND ORDINANCES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
All citizens and interested parties are encouraged to attend the meetings and to provide written and/or verbal comments on the items under consideration. No stenographic record by a certified court reporter is made of these meetings.
