PLAN
The City of Crestview is preparing the 2026-2027 Community Development
Block Grant (CDBG) Annual Action Plan. The CDBG Citizen Advisory
Committee will consider the proposed CDBG Annual Action plan on
Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. in the City Council chambers, located
at City Hall, 198 N Wilson Street, Crestview FL, 32536.
Public comments are being accepted until June 22, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. by email
to CDBG@cityofcrestview.org, or in person to the Community Development
Services Department, Crestview City Hall 198 N Wilson St., Crestview, FL
32536.
A public hearing to consider the above will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026,
at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council chambers, located at City Hall, 198 N Wilson
Street, Crestview FL.

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT
REQUEST FOR SHIP
FUNDING
The City of Crestview is accepting requests for funding through the State
Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) program for disaster recovery projects
from May 1, 2026 until September 30, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
The following funding is available:
FY23-24 - $324,925.00
FY24-25 - $212,641.00
FY25-26 - $209,298.00
Total - $746,864.00
Funds shall only be funded and implemented in the event of a disaster as
declared by the President of the United States or Governor of the State of
Florida.
Should all funds be committed, a waiting list will be created for those applicants
to which funds are not available.
Applicants will be ranked for assistance on a first qualified, first served basis,
with priority for very low- and low-income households.
Requests should be submitted by email to planning@cityofcrestview.org, or in
person at Crestview City Hall, 198 N Wilson St. Crestview, FL 32536.
