Notice of Final Agency Action Taken by the Northwest Florida Water Management District
Notice is given that Environmental Resource permit number IND-091-8475-2 was issued on April 18, 2024, to MH Crestview Land, LLC for the construction of a new surface water management system at Charleston Place Apartments. The project is designed to serve a modification to IND-091-8475-1 for a new development located northeast of the intersection of Richburg Lane and State Road 85 in Crestview (Okaloosa County). The previous permit authorized the construction of the Twin Creeks Crossing development which consisted of a movie theatre and associated infrastructure. This authorization will include construction of a new apartment complex with associated parking, drive aisles, amenities, and driveway connections to Richburg Lane. The previously permitted stormwater management system consisted of a dry detention with filtration (bottom sand filter) pond located in the southern part of the development. This permit will include expanding the previously permitted pond to accommodate the proposed and future development. Please refer to the approved plans for details of the surface water management system. This project is not anticipated to have any impacts within wetlands or other surface waters.
