One athlete whose effort shifted the momentum was Elijah Lindros. After Blountstown mishandled a punt, Lindros was already downfield ready to pounce on the ball. He did the same thing the week before in Holmes County. In the third quarter, Blountstown was knocking on the door to score, but Lindros stepping in front of a pass for an interception to stop the drive. His unwillingness to quit and determination to stay in the game is what’s earned him this week’s Baker High Athlete of the Week.
