It was one last hurrah for the area’s top senior girls basketball players as the East won 65-29 victory over the West in the Pensacola Sports Association All-Star Game on March 12 at Hartsell Arena.

Leading the way in Crestview’s 50-39 win over Gulf Breeze on Dec. 5 was senior Natalie Toney, who eclipsed the 1000-point scoring mark for her career.


Coming into the game, Toney was seven points short of history. She finished with 11 points.

At 0-4 on the young basketball season and under a new head coach, Crestview’s girls basketball team was itching to finally get in the win column.


It wasn’t easy, but after a slow start, Crestview proved up to the challenge with a dominant late third and early fourth period, en route to 52-40 victory on the road on Monday.

The unbeaten Baker Gators saved one of their best performances of the season for when it counted the most, dominating Liberty County 35-0 in the a Rural Region playoff opener at home Friday night.

The host Baker Gators came into Friday’s game against Northview without a loss this season.


The usually competitive Chiefs had earned just one victory during the 2025 campaign.

The Crestview Bulldogs, at home for the first time and coming off a bye, hoped to bounce back from a season-opening overtime loss to Milton when they played Choctaw Friday night.


But the Indians had upper hand, taking advantage of miscues and found strength in their running game and defense to win 28-0 at Jack Foster Stadium.

A full congregation of members and guests showed up to sing and worship God’s praises and listen to His word at the recent Pine Terrace Baptist Church Revival in Milton.
