Meet the Gators on August 8
For the first time in the fall, fans get to see the Baker football team in action.
Baker will host “meet the Gators” on Aug. 8 at 6 p.m. at Doug Griffith Memorial Stadium.
Cratch named Crestview interim girls basketball coach
Rafael Cratch will serve as the interim coach of the Crestview girls basketball team for the 2025-26 after the departure of head coach Andrica-Durm Williams who chose to leave the program.
Cratch was an assistant coach for the Bulldogs last season when they went 14-10 and advanced to the district tournament semifinal.

Crestview is coming off a 4-6 season while the Gators went 7-4 but could have advanced even further as they held a late lead in their regional semifinal loss to Trenton.
Improvements coming to toptracer at Blackwater Golf Club
Patrons of the “Toptracer” driving range at Blackwater Golf Club in Crestview will see notable differences in the coming months.
Along with new mats at each bay, the netting at the back of the driving range will also be raised to 90-100 feet.
St. Vincent has strong first year with Raiders
Crestview alum, Anthony St. Vincent, showed off his skill in his first year at Northwest Florida State.
The former bulldog excelled on the mound with a 3.54 ERA across 20 1/3 innings.

Major League Baseball hosted its All-Star Game on July 15 in Atlanta. And for a few days after the game, the sporting world shuts down.
Crestview baseball gaining confidence over summer
The Crestview baseball team is hoping that the summer will be a springboard for a positive 2026 season.
Crestview has been holding workouts during the summer on Tuesday-Thursday from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m which will run through the end of July.
