Crestview’s boys and girls soccer teams are gearing up for District 1-6A tournament play this week.

The Bulldog boys are the fifth seed in the tournament and take on Tate in the opening round on Jan. 27 in Fort Walton Beach.

Crestview girls weightlifting coach Alex Pottinger has watched his team take steps forward throughout the season and the Bulldogs showed off that progress last Wednesday at the District 1-3A meet in Niceville.

The Bulldogs had one district champion in Madi Muse, who prevailed in 110-pound weight class in the traditional meet of bench press and clean and jerk with a total lift of 295 pounds.
