For more than 20 years the Justin Richards Scholarship Baseball Tournament has been providing a deserving Crestview High School baseball player scholarship money to help with college expenses.
In past years high school teams from across the Deep South have made their way to the Hub City to play some good baseball and maybe spend a little time at the beach on Okaloosa Island or Destin.
Denzil Ware joins Bulldog football staff
Denzil Ware has made the long football journey home to Crestview.
A 2014 graduate, Ware was a four-star prospect who signed with Kentucky.

Teaching baseball to children of all ages

CHS teammates play together one last time
A quintet of Crestview baseball players took the field on last time on June 2 at the Pensacola State College baseball field as they played for the East team in the Pensacola Sports Association All-Star Game.
The East won the game 14-7 but playing with their friends one last time was what Brady Vann, Maddox Wesolowski, Joe Thomas, Bryce Dolce and Tison Breen will remember the most.
Youth softball team turns triple play
One play that almost every baseball and softball player dreams of being a part of, at least on the defensive side is a triple play.
But for a team of Crestview youth softball players ages 10-12 comprehending the rarity of such a play wasn’t easy after they turned one.
Crestview High School gets new floor for gym
Ever since Crestview High School opened its doors in the current location in the fall of 1969, thousands of students have practiced, played, danced, celebrated and probably shed tears on the gymnasium floor.
That original floor is gone now and will be replaced by a new hardwood surface that will be the home floor of the Bulldog basketball and volleyball teams.
