Bulldogs shine in volleyball win over Gators
down North Okaloosa County rival Baker on Thursday in straight sets by scores of 25-17, 25-18. 25-19.
The Bulldogs, who only won two matches last season, have now won three straight under first-year coach James Kerrell.
Gators go on road to face undefeated Chiefs
The Baker football team has its work cut out for it on Friday when the Gators travel to Bratt to take on the undefeated Northview Chiefs.
Baker (3-1) played Northview in the Kickoff Classic, which at very best was somewhat of a glorified scrimmage. Friday’s game is for real as are the 4-0 Chiefs.
Crestview volleyball team sweeps Vikings
It was as easy as one, two, three on Tuesday as the Crestview High School volleyball team beat county rival Fort Walton Beach in straight sets by scores of 25-11, 25-23, 25-23.
There was a ribbon-cutting ceremony before the match to make the new court that replaced the original floor official.

The Eagles flexed their muscle in sweeping the match in straight sets 3-0, but not before Crestview showed there was still some third-set fight left in it.

Tolbert might not be the biggest or the fastest Baker football player. And as is the case with most Class 1A players, his final high school football game will be the last time he takes the field in full pads.

Kayleb Wagner eclipsed 200 yards rushing for the third-consecutive game and scored two touchdowns as the Gators went on the road and beat Jefferson County 36-12.
Bulldog defense shines in win over Pace
A hard-nosed Crestview Bulldog football team showed its teeth on Friday against undefeated Pace in their home opener.
After narrowly losing to Gulf Breeze and Choctawhatchee in hard-luck games it almost seemed as if the football gods owed the Bulldogs a break. When Crestview misplayed a kickoff after a Pace touchdown setting up another quick score by the visitors it seemed as if a black cloud was over Jack Foster Stadium on the beautiful late summer night.
Choctaw slips past Bulldogs
The Crestview High School football team learned a truth that fans of the classic Rock and Roll band, Three Dog Night have known for years: “One is the loneliest number.”
