Gators take bite out of Stingrays on homecoming
Following a disappointing loss, like the one Baker suffered at the hands of Northview, many teams would get dismayed. But not the Baker Gators. Under the Friday night lights on Sept. 30, the Baker Gators played host to the Lighthouse Christian Academy Stingrays.
Last year, Lighthouse held Baker to just nine points. Friday night looked a bit different, as the Baker Gators defeated Lighthouse 48 to 7. They earned their fourth win of the season behind a running game that produced six touchdowns on Friday night.

If the 2022 Crestview football season could be summed up in an Elvis Presley song at the halfway point, it undoubtedly would be “Heartbreak Hotel.”

Baker hosts Stingrays for Homecoming 2022
Homecoming 2022 at Baker School draws to a close on Friday as the Gators host Lighthouse Christian Academy in a 7 p.m. game at Doug Griffith Memorial Stadium.
The Gator Growl pep rally is scheduled for 8:30 on Friday morning. The Homecoming Parade will leave the school at 4 p.m. And the crowing of the Homecoming Queen will take place at half time of the game.
Baker volleyball team makes quick work of Freeport
It didn’t take the Baker School volleyball team long to take down Freeport on Monday. In fact, the match ended quick enough for National Football League fans to get home in time to watch the Monday night game between Dallas and the New York Giants.
The Gators swept the Bulldogs in straight sets by scores of 25-6, 25-11, 25-18.
Chiefs too strong for the Gators
For those of you inquiring minds that were curious if Northview running back Jamarkus Jefferson is as good as advertised, the answer is a resounding yes.
Jefferson showed just how good he is rushing for 236 yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries to lead the Chiefs to a 49-10 win over Baker on Friday. Jefferson has some pretty good teammates too.

down North Okaloosa County rival Baker on Thursday in straight sets by scores of 25-17, 25-18. 25-19.
The Bulldogs, who only won two matches last season, have now won three straight under first-year coach James Kerrell.
