When Crestview misplayed a kickoff after a Pace touchdown setting up another quick score by the visitors it seemed as if a black cloud was over Jack Foster Stadium on the beautiful late summer night.

Baker football coach Barry Gardner will be the first to tell you don’t judge a book by its cover when looking at Friday’s opponent Jefferson County. Crestview High School’s road warrior football team plays its first game of the season in the friendly confines of Jack Foster Stadium on Friday when the Bulldogs host undefeated Pace at 7 p.m. Not only is it the first home game of the season, it’s Bulldog Hall of Fame Night and Senior Night.
