Crestview Maker’s Market was born as a nonprofit, with proceeds above costs going to fund programs at Crestview High School.

“Due to the cold weather, we need gloves, hats, things of that nature. We’re always asking for one-person tents, sleeping bags, things like that,” said Shelter Director Alicia Cabrera.

“What does everyone think about having a flea market in Crestview?” she asked. More than 500 comments later, she had her answer.

A first reading on the annexation, rezoning and comprehensive plan amendment for each was approved. All had been approved by the Zoning Board on Jan. 3.
